Get Ready for Puppy Pick Day!
Puppy Pick Day happens when puppies turn 6 weeks and 2 days old. Waiting until pups reach this age gives you the chance to review pictures and videos as well as review the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test results. To learn more about Volhard Puppy Aptitude Testing ((CLICK HERE)).
To understand the process for choosing your puppy, please review the instructions on this page carefully.
How the puppy pick process works
On puppy pick day, beginning at 10 AM (Mountain Time), the depositors listed on the litter page will begin choosing their puppies.
We'll proceed in order starting with the first person on the list choosing first, then the second person will choose, and so forth.
You’ll record your puppy selection on the litter page by clicking on the “Select Your Puppy” link, which will be placed on the litter page on Puppy Pick Day.
Once it becomes your turn to choose, we ask that you please make your selection within 15 minutes. This helps us stay on track and allows amiable consideration for the others on the list.
The litter page will be updated in "REAL TIME" after each puppy is selected. Be sure to "REFRESH" your browser to see the latest updates.
What if the puppy I was considering has been picked?
We know it’s important that you find the best puppy for you. If the puppy you were considering has been chosen by someone else, you still have a few options:
You can choose any remaining available puppy from the litter. There may still be another great puppy waiting to join your family.
You can withdraw from choosing and transfer your deposit to another current or upcoming litter with an open spot.
Remember, we only want you to choose a puppy that you are madly in love with, and to never “settle” on a puppy. With this in mind, you may withdraw completely and we will enthusiastically provide a 100% refund of your puppy deposit. It’s important to understand, however, that this deposit is not refundable after you have chosen a puppy, so make sure the puppy you choose is the one you want and you’re fully committed to this new relationship.
